In the picture I welcome and open speeches at the anniversary. The others in the picture are the governor, the chairman of the municipal council, representatives from the Bronx, the US embassy, the Emigrant Institute and others.

På dena bild finns ättlingar i släkten Bronck från både USA och Sverige, representanter från Sävsjö kommun, Länsstyrelsen, stadsförvaltningen i The Bronx, USAs ambassad och ättlingar i släkten Bronck från både USA och Sverige kom till jubileet.

In this picture there are descendants of the Bronck family from both the US and Sweden, representatives from the municipality of Sävsjö, the County Administrative Board, the city administration of The Bronx, the US embassy and descendants in the Bronck family from both the US and Sweden came to the anniversary.

Mitt uppdrag var även att göra Jonas Bronck lika känd i den Småländska bygd han kom från som han är på den plats han givit namn åt nämligen The Bronx i New York Målet var nått - på några veckor når vi ca 10 miljoner via olika media bl.a. New York Times, Sveriges Radio och mängder av andra lokala-, riks- och interntionella media

Jag tilldelades denna medalj från Bronx för mina insatser som ordförande för Jonas Bronck Celebration.

En bok med följande citat får jag dagarna efter jubileet från professorn i turism emeritus Bengt Sahlberg:
Ingen, utom Anders Franzén, hade 1956 kunnat ana att just vraket efter ett misslyckat krigsskepp skulle bli Sveriges största turistattraktion. I analogi med det kan vi förutspå att ”nästa Vasa” blir något helt annat än ett skeppsvrak”
Äntligen en som förstått tänkte jag.
